Location: Canton, Georgia.
Ages: 3 -6
Start date, schedule, and pricing: To be announced. I’d love to give more info on this, but we are in-process. Working goal is to start small: January - 1x per week mommy-and-me outdoor Storytime & Play 1.5hrs Fridays mornings (free – donations welcomed!), followed by the addition of 2x per week 4hrs per day Drop-Off program.
Our space: 2+ acres of fields and forest, with more forest and trails that lead to creeks and a lake. We have forts, mud-kitchens, a tire snake, a climbing dome, swings, slides, a circle-time space, a sandbox, and much more planned (i.e., hammocks, more forts, a library loan box). We are in the process of setting up a shelter, and we have vegetable gardens planned.
Child to teacher ratio: 1 to 6.

Looking for a part-time teacher (20 hrs/week):
- Experience as a forest school teacher desired; degree in teaching or related field preferred.
- Must have experience with a group of children.
- We are an outdoor program - a love of nature and a ruggedness in all weather is a must. Hand in the soil, sit on the ground, excited about seeing a grasshopper type of person!
- Please tell me about any training: forest school training, wilderness training, CPR/First Aid training, and/or any related training.
- I’m looking for someone I can collaborate with. I need someone organized, motivated, intentional. Good communication skills and a genuine desire to be a part of a team.
