What is forest school?

Forest School is child-led, outdoor learning. We take learning outside, and we use projects, exploration, and play - not only to help children learn, but also to grow socially, emotionally, and physically. It's not about memorizing facts for tests (quickly forgotten) - it's about building upon the child's natural curiosity and interests. This creates a full experience that will resonate with them forever (genuine learning).
