About us

I'm Lorra, mom of 4-year-old twins. I’m an eternal student, nature-enthusiast, food hippie, and animal-lover. 

I’m developing an outdoor-based, academically challenging program to educate children in a way that activates genuine interest and provides a whole-child approach. I believe children should be happy, free to roam and question, and inspired cognitively. Children are naturally curious and want to learn – that spark needs to be kept alive and set ablaze.

I would love for you to join me. We need a community for our children, and for ourselves. 

What started as a quest to find outdoorsy friends for my children has become something larger. A way to form a community of kindness and support, and to give our children a lifestyle of friendship, fresh air, good health, and vigorous intellectual pursuits. One where being inquisitive is embraced and education is child-led. 

We’re starting with ages 3 -6. This age is about freedom to move, learning social-emotional skills, developing imagination, and learning through play. In the future, we will add programs for older children.
