Teaching at Fox & Fionn’s Forest

Fox and Fionn’s Forest School – Canton, Georgia

🌲

Fox & Fionn’s Forest is a small, nature-based learning community rooted in play, presence, and rhythm. We are inspired by forest school, Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia, with a deep respect for childhood as a time of wonder, movement, and connection to the natural world.

Teaching here is relational and grounded. Our educators value presence over performance, child-led play over rigid structure, and relationship over curriculum pacing. This is not a traditional classroom environment, but a calm, outdoor setting where children learn through direct experience and meaningful connection.

Our days take place primarily outdoors in most weather, with an emphasis on appropriate clothing, preparation, and seasonal rhythm.

We are currently in a pilot phase, beginning slowly and intentionally as we establish rhythm and refine our program before opening more fully.
